Вышла финальная версия WinRAR 3.71, самого продвинутого архиватора всех
времен и народов для Windows. Завершилось тестирование новой версии
отечественного архиватора WinRAR. Программа использует собственный
оригинальный алгоритм RAR, в качестве вспомогательного выступает
лицензированный ZIP. Присутствует полная поддержка многопроцессорных и
многоядерных систем, что повышает скорость упаковки. В общей сложности
работает еще с двенадцатью форматами (CAB, ARJ, LZH, TAR, GZ, ACE, UUE,
BZ2, JAR, ISO, Z, 7Z), среди которых и образы дисков. Программа имеет
современный интерфейс, который обладает разнообразными функциями и
дополнительными возможностями, например, создание многотомных архивов,
использование SFX-модулей, шифрование, мультимедийное сжатие, отправка
архивов по электронной почте, предварительный прогноз сжатия и прочее.
